PS Plus May 2025 games – confirmed Essential, Extra, Premium games
PS Plus in April had another good month after March with RoboCop: Rogue City being included in the lineup. But the PS Plus May 2025 games aren’t nearly as fantastic. Although there is one standout title.
Here is a rundown of what we know about the PS Plus May 2025 games.
PS Plus May 2025 Games
The PS Plus May 2025 games are:
- ARK Survival Ascended – PS5 (Essential, Available from May 6, 2025)
- Balatro – PS5, PS4 (Essential, Available from May 6, 2025)
- Warhammer 40,000 Boltgun – PS5, PS4 (Essential, Available from May 6, 2025)
The Essential games were on April 30, 2025, and will be available from May 6, 2025. The PS Plus May 2025 Extra and Premium games will be announced on May 14, 2025, and be available on May 20, 2025.
Ark Survival Ascended – PS5

Balatro is a poker-inspired roguelike deck builder all about creating powerful synergies and winning big. Combine valid poker hands with unique Joker cards in order to create varied synergies and builds. Earn enough chips to beat devious blinds, all while uncovering hidden bonus hands and decks as you progress. You’re going to need every edge you can get in order to reach the boss blind, beat the final ante and secure victory.
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun – PS5, PS4
Play as Malum Caedo, a fearless Space Marine, on his perilous mission to locate a shard from a mysterious power source on Graia, a Forge World on the brink of being overrun by Cultists, Traitors and Chaos Daemons. Scour the place, acquire devastating weapons and holy equipment, and PURGE THE HERETICS in this retro shooter!
