Portland-based musician Rony Drops New Song, “Invincible”
Mission Viejo-born, Portland-raised rapper Rony has developed quite the resume over the years, from beginning his music career, from radio play across the Pacific Northwest to starting his own record label, to thousands of streams on Spotify, and more. Ronaldo Rodriguez, known professionally as Rony, is an American rapper from Portland, Oregon. Rony was born on September 6, 1999, in Mission Viejo, California. He later moved to Portland in 2005 with his family, where he spent most of his early years.
Today, Rony drops off a seductive new single, “Invincible.” Showcasing his versatility abilities and rap skills, the talented rapper proves to be a double-edged sword.
“My inspiration behind Invincible was to create a song that inspires not only my peers, but Portland natives as well. It begins with Rony singing adlibs and talking about how he feels Invincible, and top of the world. Then unexpectedly switches to a turn up feel that anyone can vibe to. I was able to showcase a lot of my creativity with this song,” Rony shares with us.
