NYC-Based Reggaeton/Pop/Hip-Hop Fusion Artist Goldilocks (she/her/ella) Launches new single “La Que No”

From upcoming album Future Famous Set to be released June 4
Los Angeles, CA (May 14, 2021) – Goldilocks (she/her/ella), a non-binary NYC reggaeton artist by way of Spain, releases her sixth single today from her upcoming album Future Famous (to be released June 4), “La Que No”. Other singles released thus far include “Bañador”, “Dance on Me”, “Animal” ft. L O U I S M E, “Type of Way”, and “Cherry”.
Written and recorded in quarantine, “La Que No” tells a love story of someone warming up to their own feelings for another. Goldilocks says about the meaning of the song, “‘La Que No’ is about someone pretending that they don’t have a crush on you, but at the end of the night they reveal that they [do], playing it cool, [and] letting things you want come to you and not chasing them down.” As with every song save one on her upcoming album (“Animal ft. L O U I S M E”, released Sept. 18, 2020) Goldilocks self-produced the track.
There’s a lot more to Goldilocks than this single. Bilingual due to her upbringing in Queens, Goldilocks has made music since childhood and is a multi-instrumentalist: her knowledge of drums, keys, saxophone, and various folkloric instruments informs her effortless production. While she has only been active for a few years, there’s no doubt Goldilocks has already made a big impact: her hit song Saab Story debuted on Spotify’s New Music Friday Latin Playlist, she did liners for iHeart Radio telling her coming out story for National Coming Out Day 2020, and she performed at the Amazon Music “Together At Home” Concert to premiere Bañador last summer.
Like the rest of the upcoming album, this radio-ready single oozes with chill summer vibes. Goldilocks says of the album Future Famous, “The main vibe behind Future Famous is manifesting your reality. It’s inspired by Mohammad Ali’s belief that he was the greatest before he ever was.” Stay tuned to yesiamgoldilocks on socials (or yesiamgoldie on Twitter) for more information about upcoming video releases and events around the album.
