Mopey Lopey – The Rise of a Hillystar

New Music Coming Out From a Super Dope Artist
Presave: Mopey Lopey – The Rise of a Hillystar 10/1/21
Mopey has been perfecting his craft for over a decade and has dedicated his life to his music. Coming out of the Black Hills underground music scene, alongside his rap partner “Dogg Deezy”, under the moniker “Hillywood Music”, they have created a local following behind their Skyline Drive series, have collaborated with platinum selling artist: Layzie Bone, as well as dropped dozens of music videos for their fan base. Now it is time for Mopey to release his solo E.P. titled “The Rise of a Hillystar”, 5 tracks that slap hard and tell the story of an underground artist. Here is one of his reviews:
“With an impeccable sense of rhythm that’s as fluid as water, Mopey Lopey shows us that he’s not just a one trick pony. Slow, mid, and high-tempo tracks come naturally to the gifted rapper, and coupled with his insanely witty lyrics, Mopey Lopey’s music displays a fierce unpredictability that keeps you on your toes.”

Song information: (The Rise)
This song came out of me as a burst of energy after a month of not writing music. I had a month worth of stuff to say and after going through a hundred beats I found the right backdrop to paint the picture of how I felt. I wrote and recorded this song in one day. Mixed and mastered over a week.
E.P. information: (The Rise of a Hillystar)
Produced by Fantom, Scotch Blood Beats, and Josh Petruccio
Featuring one collaboration with artist “Dogg Deezy” on the song “Hillystar”
This E.P. was made to showcase the current musical direction of Mopey as he transitions into his own unique sound of rhythm, melody, and passionate delivery. Trying to survive as a artist, he took time to put together a mini collage of the different moods, aspects, and overall representation of his current era in life.
