LXRY LB is an American rapper, songwriter, fashion designer, and multimedia artist. Based In Greensboro, NC, He Credits his biggest influencers as, Future, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, J Cole, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Jay Z, Nas, Tupac Shakur, The Notorious BIG, His Uncle JJ, His Older Cousin Matik, And Kobe Bryant.
LB began writing music in 2003 while in the 5th grade. He became inspired by his older cousin Matik after discovering his notebooks and seeing the books filled with raps front to back on every page. LB joined the military after graduating high school in 2010, and in 2012 was deployed to Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. While deployed, LB was introduced to the recording studio for the first time and also began to perform live at company events. He stated one of his motivations for eventually going AWOL once returning to the United States was to pursue a musical career.
After years of honing his lyrical abilities in the underground recording studios of North Carolina, LB has finally emerged from the dungeon with his highly anticipated debut album, The Family Tree. The Family Tree is an autobiographical masterpiece that formally introduces LB to the world for the first time. It also serves as a time capsule for his family by exploring the roots of his existence while simultaneously planting new seeds. His delivery of the project is charismatic, eccentric, explosively intense, intimate, calculated, and precise.
