Kattacomb releases new EP “Sleepless”
Kattacomb kicks off Summer 2021 by releasing his new EP “Sleepless”. Which is a 3 track record with a wide variety of genre-bending sounds. The balance between early progressive house, classical piano, and a newer down tempo lofi-hip hop sound gives this EP a unique touch that listeners might not have heard before.
This EP includes tracks like “Now You’re Away”, which leads lush pads and bright melodies throughout the song and eventually into a gentle piano breakdown followed by a plucky chord progression to finish off all while a beautiful synthesized vocal sample carries the track into a world made for the listeners imagination.
Kattacomb says “This record is a lot more personal than my previous projects because I was going through a lot mentally at the time, and also had really bad insomnia while I was writing it, which is why in the cover art I’m getting some well needed rest because the hard part is finally done.”
