The beat is undeniably catchy, with powerful keys and complementing bass and synths. Jalyn’s low, demanding voice rests on the track perfectly in an impressive mix. It sounds like he has the confidence to command the track and demand the attention of anyone listening. To me, there’s nothing more captivating than a bold, ambitious artist.
I can’t pass up mentioning Jalyn’s role as a lyricist. Each line rolls into the next as Jalyn delivers clever quips and sly boasts. He knows what he’s about and doesn’t hold back when it comes to his lyrics. He’s in a raw, bold genre and handles his place in it gracefully.
“When U See Me” is an impressive track by a young rising star, Jalyn Emil. He kicked off his career in 2020 with his debut track ‘One of a Kind,’ but I don’t see him stopping soon. He’s already released two tracks in 2022, ‘Been Thru It’ and ‘When U See Me,’ and I’m looking forward to seeing what he’s up to next.
