Goron Releases New Single ‘Farther’
Rochester NY based Doom band Goron drops first new single in over 2 years ‘Farther’ with Wicked Squid on RasMedMusic
ROCHESTER NY – Goron has just released its first single in over 2 years. The new single, ‘Farther’, was produced with the help of Wicked Squid Studios and is available for streaming on all major streamers via RasMedMusic and DistroKid.
“This music is mystifying and monolithic. These guys have matured so much in their songwriting” said Vicky Tee of Fox 45 at a recent show. “They’re definitely going to do some cool stuff!”
The band initially formed in 2013, and drew influences from the 90’s Stoner/Doom revival scene. After having reformed in 2020, the band began writing songs that combined elements of Doom Metal with Prog Rock. Since then, Goron has been working hard on new material and preparing for this release.
