Great to have you on Xttrawave. Please, introduce yourself.

My name is Celiane the Voice. Am a Technohuman Weapon of Mass Love. I am here to spread the message of love to save humanity before it is too late. I am from the Bay Area in California.

What got you into music and made you realize that it was your chosen path?

I have singing and making up songs since when I was 5 years old. I still remember my brother begging my mother to make me shut up. Then I began really singing when I was 11 years old. This is when I began learning how to sing in different languages. I started learning opera at 17 and have been studying jazz and opera for 20+ years. I knew this was made for me.

Tell us about your new music? And what’s the story behind it?

My new song, “Inner Universe Reloaded” is an ode to Origa’s “Inner Universe” song for Ghost in the Shell. I fell in love with the song over 10 years ago and decided to cover it in my genre, Electronica Hip-Opera. The song itself questions our very existence of our outer world and our inner world being out of sync but in love, we can be harmonious together. It is calling on that which we can’t see for help, yet the love is there to guide us in life and bring us a peace we don’t know is waiting for us.

What makes your music unique? How would you describe it?

What makes my music unique is that I created my genre of Electronica Hip-Opera. It combines dubstep, Hip-Hop beat, heavy bass, classical elements and electronica music. I wanted to include all the elements I love in music and have my voice still fit into it. My music, my whole performance is what I call “audible art”. I am a walking, breathing art form when I perform. That is the coolest concept that feeds my love to see art evolve.

Who are your biggest musical influences? And any particular artist/band you would like to collaborate with in the future?

My biggest music influencers are Herbie Hancock, Peter Gabriel, Daft Punk, Amy Winehouse, and Meatloaf. If I had the chance to collaborate, it would have been with Daft Punk but also with Meatloaf. I love artists who bring art to life on stage. I would love to collab with EDM DJ’s. I want to create audible art to their music.

Which is the best moment in your musical career that you’re most proud of?

My best moment of my career so far is when I worked for Cedar Fair as Christmas Carol. You stay in your character or hours. I enjoyed the fact that people would come to the park just for the characters. I sang Christmas Carols to those that wanted one and it was so wonderful to feel their joy over a brief beautiful memory or moment in time.

How do you balance your music with other obligations – family, friends or work?

I handle my busy life by setting routines, keeping to a schedule and being flexible and open. I have a lot of schedules to juggle but we work around each other.

What advice would you give to aspiring musicians?

The advice I would give is stick to your will and what you want to do, don’t compromise what makes you, you. Learn all you can about your craft and become the master of your own creation.

If you had one message to give to your fans, what would it be?

One message I would give my fans is we will change this world with love one person at a time. And that without them, I couldn’t do what I love to do. I appreciate you all!

What’s next for you? Any upcoming projects?

What is next for me is getting better at my craft and a secret type of show that will totally wow you.
