Pop recording artist Brandon Coleman (March 26, 2000 – ) is set to release a new single accompanied by a second music video many have been waiting for, and he’s finally revealed the name through behind the scenes posts on social media as Y.Y.C. I’M FLY.
It hasn’t been made clear what the acronym stands for yet, but we do know that after undergoing several adaptations of its title, “Y.Y.C. I’m Fly” is by far one of Brandon Coleman’s most anticipated releases after the announcement of his newly acquired distribution deal with an anonymous record label. The song will also serve as the follow up to Coleman’s latest and now essential album Champagne (July, 2021), a record that launched Brandon Coleman into a higher underground music spotlight scoring him his new deal, mentorship opportunities in Los Angeles, and shoutouts from top urban media publications such as WorldstarHiphop.
Born and brought up in California’s Bay Area, Brandon is most recognized across the internet for his significantly identical vocal performance to that of late pop icon Michael Jackson, and recording styles similar to Justin Bieber, Tory Lanez, Kehlani, & The Weeknd.
Scoring an extensive list of accomplishments since the beginning of his almost ten-year indie-career, Coleman’s story is still a harrowing one. Like many independent artists, Coleman has first hand experience with the hardships involved in trying to make money as an indie artist in today’s world, as much as breaking into the formal music industry. This Bay Area celebrity may soon find himself amongst other household names as we help to spotlight on his contribution inspiring independent artists hesitant towards restrictions the formal music industry places on their creativity.
