Stephanie Victoria Allen (born 14th December 1991 – Birmingham, West Midlands) better known as Stefflon Don is an outstanding British rapper. She rose to stardom shortly after her single, Hurtin’ Me. Simbiatu Ajikawo (born 23 February 1994 – Islington, London), better known by her stage name Little Simz, is a British rapper, singer, songwriter and actress. Independent recordings such as “Blank Canvas” (2013) and “E.D.G.E.” (2014) led to a Worldwide Awards nod, the first major accolade for the British artist. Laura Adegbite (born October 5, 1996) best known as Shaybo and nicknamed “The Queen of the South,” is a Nigerian-born English rapper. She lived in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria, until her family moved to London when she was six. The “Shay’bo Freestyle” was a video she made with her friends in the winter of 2011, which had gone viral. After a couple of singles, Brown dropped her first mixtape in August 2021. Brown titled this mixtape, Queen of the South, after watching the series of the same name which is about a woman named Teresa Mendoza. She was inspired by the main character who, as she says, “started off naive and then she managed to overcome her pain and her trauma and become a strong woman who’s very strong-willed, and who knows how to sit in a room full of men and still get her point across.”
