Alexander David Manns Launches Music Career

American YouTube entrepreneur influencer is launching a new venture in music, and we caught up with him to find out all the deets!

What is your Artist name and where are you based?

I will be going by my name Alexander David Manns, I want to be able to do music and at the same time keep it all 100% me. If people like my music I don’t want them knowing a stage name I’d rather them know that it’s coming from me the real me.

What got you into music and made you realize that it was your chosen path?

Honestly, I’ve always loved music. Growing up my parents listened to a lot of jazz so on one side I love rap and R & B of course but I always liked hearing good music sounds from like a trumpet or a piano or even acoustic guitars.

What makes your music unique?

Well, my music is unique because it sets a mood that people can relate to. It’s music to feed the soul. My music either going to cheer you up when your down or make you calm down and think when you’re not feeling so good. We all got those songs we listen to when we are thinking about people or a family member or even a situation. Music gets you through these things and that’s what I hope to achieve. I want people to relate to me and my struggle and feel connected with me through my music.

How would you describe the music that you typically create?

Honestly, I would say alternative pop R&B hip hop! It’s everything in one it’s me!

Do you play any instruments? And why do you love it?

I’m learning the piano currently and I’m hoping to kill it. I love it because it’s just an instrument I’ve always loved. It would be nothing better than playing the piano for my wife and family or even doing a holiday piano concert.

How is your creative process when recording music?

When I record music me and my wife just both brainstorm on the songs and what melody will go with lyrics I’ve written. Sometimes lyrics end up on a different song.

What makes a good recording session?

To me, a good recording session is honestly just being creative and being inspired to just write and record as I go. Writing songs for me is all emotion and how I’m feeling. If I’m sad I write a sad song, if I’m happy which 99% of the time I am then I’m coming with make you want to dance hit!

Who is in your team?

As far as my team, me and my wife Sam write all our own music and then melodies and beats side is made by my producers and friends Morginkay and Alex Mabaso. Their beats are crazy along with Sam’s and my lyrics. Then I have my assistants Joseph Perry and Raymond Kulwicki who help me manage things. So, our team is honestly the best I’ve ever worked with!

Has there been one particular moment in your musical career that you’re most proud of?

Honestly when I realized I could write music it was pretty cool. Funniest part is the fact I can write songs for my wife now lol I want to make a lot of songs for her. Got to hit her with that one song she’ll cry to. That’s when I know I have a hit.

Who are your biggest musical influences? And would you like to collaborate with them in future?

Biggest music influences in order I would say, John Legend I am a huge fan! Not just his music but the influence and what he stands for. For creativity Jaden, Willow and Will Smith! All 3 are crazy creative as far as just music that’s just insanely different! Next, I would say Billie Eilish and Hayley Williams of Paramore, Mariah Carey, and MØ because their vocals are wild! Then Lil Wayne and J Cole because their music just so real and raw.

If you had one message to give to your fans, what would it be?

My one message would be you can be and do anything you want to or want to be in this world and don’t ever let anybody stop you.

Do you hope to tour?

I think the best part would be touring. I used to always think that jeez being on stage and seeing that mean people would be scary but at the same time seeing that many people and feeling that much love would be awesome. I look forward to it and to have more fans as I go for not just me but me and my team. I mean fans make artist who they are so if I can’t tour, I wouldn’t be doing my job as an artist.

When can we hear the new music?

I’ll just say my first album will be coming out at the end of summer. I thought maybe I should put a single out before, but I’d rather release a whole album first so people know me not from just a couple songs but from the entire album! Stay tuned!
