Mark Your Calendar For Anizzy’s Hot Single: The Return

The covert art lays the foundation for Anizzy’s soon-to-be-released single, The Return. It features a man who seems to be somewhere in the mountains. In the backdrop is a cobalt blue night sky with sparse clouds and bright stars. The man is staring into the distance, deep in thought. From the snippets Anizzy has released about the song, we can safely assume that the man is contemplating his journey home and is taking in the shift from vacation to reality.

The Return is a song about coming home. After a fun-filled vacation with his friends, Anizzy and his friends have to come back. However, nothing exciting is waiting for him when he returns. He has a job that he dislikes, but it is the only financial lifeline he has.

Anizzy’s real name is Aniketh Sanjiv. Anizzy was born in India but grew up in Houston, Texas. Anizzy began creating music at eighteen. However, like many immigrant children, the expectations that Anizzy’s parents had of him were not only quite high, but they were in conflict with what Anizzy wanted for his life.

Because of this pressure, Anizzy lost sight of what he really wanted to do with his life. The only thing that was able to re-ignite his love for music and encourage him to make music his career was the lessons he learned from his mentor and renowned tabla player, Dexter Raghunanan.

Fast forward, Anizzy now has his 2021 debut album, Fallen, in his discography, which amassed over 80,000 streams and still rising. If his previous songs are anything to go by, Anizzy’s fans can expect a lot of honesty in The Return. Anizzy has previously mentioned that he uses his songs to work through whatever issues he might be going through. The struggles of building a music career by relying on a 9-5 is something that is bound to resonate with a lot of creatives and musicians.

For the sound production, Anizzy has partnered with Dyllyn Greer of Houstonology Studios. It is not the first time Anizzy and Dyllyn are working together. They also partnered for the production of Anizzy’s album Fallen.

The two will undoubtedly employ Anizzy’s unique blend of hip-hop, R&B, and Bollywood. This unique signature style is one that has helped Anizzy gain traction for his music and carves out an audience for himself in the industry. It appeals to both mainstream listeners and to fringe listeners who like something more unconventional. This mix of sounds for a melancholic and pensive song will be sure to pull at the heartstrings while still being enjoyable.

Fans have to wait around two weeks to listen to the song, with the official release date being 28 October on all major music streaming platforms. The Return will also be the flag bearer for his soon-to-come EP. For updates on The Return and to listen to his other tracks, fans can follow Anizzy on his Instagram, YouTube, or Spotify.
