The Dirigibles release new album, “Momentum”

The Dirigibles will be releasing their sophomore effort, “Momentum” on June 23rd, 2022, at local hotspot Transplants Brewery, in Palmdale California. The release of Momentum follows the group’s debut album, Volition, which was released in 2020, shortly before the onset of the pandemic.
Raw, emotionally charged rock, Momentum is a showcase of front-man Efrain Zazueta’s (EZ) life. Operating as a single father of four, Momentum outlines the struggles of daily life, observed through the eyes of a man who often has more on their plate than most can bare. “It’s sort of something that a lot of individuals can identify with”, Zazuetta states, “the idea of giving everything you have to something. Giving so much, that you don’t realize you’ve run out of steam until you have nothing left to give. Sometimes, that’s life.
“This record was such a serious endeavor for all of us” remarks Isaiah Gonzales, Guitarist and Engineer for the album. “We knew EZ had a lot to say with this album, so we all approached it with reverence and respect. The album isn’t just a collection of songs, it’s a diary. It’s someone’s heart, set in a display box for the whole world to see. That’s not an easy thing to do, but I feel like we did a good job capturing the various struggles that Efrain wished to convey through this work.”
“The actual act of recording and producing the album was a great experience”, says bass Player Kolbe Covey. “It was kind of crazy, we all just hunkered down in Isaiah’s home studio and got to work. It’s crazy the type of sounds you can get in the studio now a days. We recorded the album in a garage, but but it sounds just as good as a lot of the stuff on the radio. It was really cool to be a part of that.”
The Dirigibles are actively booking for a leg of west coast dates in support of Momentum.
