Professional musician Miko Reed Plugs Her Upcoming Track, ‘Back to that Day’

San Diego-based performer Miko Reed is dropping a new single, ‘Back to that Day’ in June
Music is the purest form of art that has the power to connect all. Inspired by the eloquence of the art of music, seasoned singer and multi-instrumentalist Miko Reed has established a soundscape that has a universal approach. She is all set to release a brand-new song, ‘Back to that Day’ sometime in early June this year. The song is said to feature a unique fusion of multiple sounds such as live instruments, big vocals, a rhythm section, horns playing a little bit of soul, a little bit of jazz, and funk.
Starting her musical journey at a very young age, Miko Reed has come a long way, performing in various bands and with her own band, Miko & the Magik Soul. She played the piano and alto saxophone for her high school marching band and soon started singing in the church and playing the keys with her father. Her extraordinary soundscape is a fusion of different elements handpicked from Gospel, R&B, Funk, Soul, and Jazz. No wonder she has had airplay on KPRZ ‘K-Praise’ Radio, Comcast Cable, and sang as a back-up singer to Grammy and Dove Award-winning recording artist Rebecca St. James, recording artists Keith & Kristyn Getty, and Brenton Brown. She was also a part of a musical theatre with Loretta Devine from the hit movies ‘Waiting to Exhale’ and ‘The Preacher’s Wife.’
Miko Reed recently also had a live TV performance on KUSI Good Morning San Diego, where she was seen playing covers with Miko & the Magik Soul. Make sure to check it out, and don’t forget to mark your calendar for ‘Back to that Day.’ To get real-time updates on Miko Reed, visit her website and follow her on Instagram.
