Liza Jane Releases ‘Unbreakable’ for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Award-winning soprano singer-songwriter Liza Jane has released her new contemporary opera infused single, ‘Unbreakable’ to coincide with national breast awareness month.
Written by Liza Jane, and recorded in Los Angeles, ‘Unbreakable’ is an anthem to empower others, especially women who face the journey of battling breast cancer. This cause is close to Liza Jane’s heart as her own mother was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.
“My song ‘Unbreakable’ was written to support life’s many obstacles, and curveballs, and is a reminder that we must strive to lift ourselves up and carry on after all the tragedies that are thrown our way. Aside from my mother battling breast cancer, during my own lifetime, I experienced a tragic event which set me back mentally, psychically and in my music career for nearly two years. But somehow that little voice inside of me said you have to remain unbreakable. You must strive to get through this. That’s why my lyrics No one but me, can save me, are a very true statement about how no one but ourselves can pull us out of a dark place. I myself must remember no matter what life has in store for me that we must remain ‘Unbreakable’ and fight our demons. From my family and personal life experience, I wrote a song that was a message to others. That we are fighters, we are warriors, we are strong, and we are unbreakable!”
Born in Miami, but raised in Key West, Florida, Liza Jane is a talented young artist of Italian descent. Over the years she has wowed audiences across America and Europe with her phenomenal vocal ability and rock-opera style. Liza Jane has performed live on stage with some of the music industries elite and has opened for various high-profile bands and musicians including, Three Dog Night, the Doobie Brothers, Grand Funk Railroad and rock-star Phil Brown from Little Feat.
