Producers are making their path into the music industry even harder than before. It’s time to give them the credit they deserve, because without them there wouldn’t be clean and amazing projects. Onzieb is a producer, songwriter and engineer in NYC that is making the coolest stuff ever.
His last release is called “Beautiful” featuring Kitty J, a brand new artist that is also working so hard to make it into the industry. The song is very chill but still powerful with beautiful and polish lyrics. It’s a love song, and an honest one unlike what we listen to on the radio or in the most important playlist on the streaming platforms. “I’m getting dizzy now, come on and take my hand, you can lead the way so I won’t be afraid”, she sings with a sweet tone to her lover. As the title of the song says, her significant other is “so beautiful”.
Onzieb did an amazing job by choosing Kitty J as the vocalist, her voice is so smooth and sweet that makes you go into a state of mind of peace and love. The melodies are calm and chill, it’s like you’re floating in the air and daydreaming about your significant other. The “la la la” makes that feeling even more powerful, the vocals and the notes are perfect: nothing is bothering you, no one can make you upset while listening to this track. The production of the song is so clean and vivib. It’s a minimalistic song and it fits perfectly with his aesthetic.
Even if its 1:38 minutes long, it has everything a good song needs: vocals, lyrics and a great production. No, it has no beats but you can feel them when the fingers snap. That is kinda the beat of the song, that’s what makes you travel. You know this track is powerful when you feel like you’re hypnotized.
He started working while he was in college and he made it to a series of recording sessions at Daddy’s House Recording Studio (Bad Boy) for the late Heavy D. “It was here where I got a lot of great insight from Heavy D himself, which included him saying “take your time,” and to always “write what I feel.””, Onzieb said.
